AM² was a three-day anime convention held annually in the summer at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.

Animania was an annual anime convention that was held in Sydney, Australia. Originally run by local University anime societies, Animania is now organised by Aurora Entertainment, and includes several events in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Adelaide. The term Animania in the 1990s referred to online-organized meetings of Animaniacs fans from around the world.
The Anime Contents Expo also known as ACE was one of the largest anime trade fairs in the world, held annually in Japan. The first event was held in 2012. The event was held at Makuhari Messe, a convention and exhibition center in Tokyo Bay, in late March. In 2014 it was merged with the Tokyo International Anime Fair to form AnimeJapan.

Anime Salt Lake was an anime convention held during March at the Salt Lake Community College Redwood Campus in Taylorsville, Utah.

Anime Vegas was an annual three-day anime convention held during November at various locations around Las Vegas, Nevada, the most recent being the Renaissance-Las Vegas.

MechaCon was an annual three-day anime convention held during the summer at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana. It was the oldest active anime convention in Louisiana.

Quinni-Con was an annual two-day anime fan convention held during March or April at the Rocky Top Student Center on the Quinnipiac University York Hill Campus in Hamden, Connecticut, United States. The convention featured a number of events which included a tea café, video programming rooms, a dealers' alley, guest speakers, a video game room, and a dance. Quinni-Con was created and run by the Quinnipiac University Anime Club, and the name of the event is derived from the school.

SugoiCon was an annual three day anime convention in the Cincinnati–Northern Kentucky metropolitan area held at the Crowne Plaza Cincinnati North in Sharonville, Ohio. The convention was organized by Southwest Ohio Regional Animation.

The Tokyo International Anime Fair also known as Tokyo International Animation Fair was one of the largest anime trade fairs in the world, held annually in Tokyo, Japan. The first event was held in 2002 as "Tokyo International Anime Fair 21". The event was held at Tokyo Big Sight, a convention and exhibition center in Tokyo Bay, in late March. Usually, the first one or two days of the fair were weekdays and the entrance was open only to industry members and the press; the last two days were scheduled on the weekend and the fair was open to the public.

Wai-Con was an annual anime convention held in Perth, Western Australia. The convention was held over two days and aimed to promote Japanese culture to the general community. Wai-Con was created by and run by the non-profit incorporation Perth Anime Convention (PAniC).
