
Hiroshi Fukuda is a retired Japanese weightlifter who won a silver medal at the 1963 World Championships. Next year he set a world record in the press and finished fourth at the 1964 Olympics.

Shiro Ichinoseki is a retired Japanese bantamweight weightlifter. He competed at the 1964 and 1968 Olympics and finished in third and fifth place, respectively. Between 1963 and 1965 he set three official world records – two in the snatch and one in the total.

Shigeo Kogure was a Japanese bantamweight weightlifter who won a gold medal at the 1958 Asian Games and placed fourth at the 1960 Summer Olympics, both held in Tokyo.

Sadahiro Miwa is a retired Japanese weightlifter. He competed at the 1964 and 1968 Olympics in the middleweight class and finished in fifth and tenth place, respectively.

Hiromi Miyake , born 18 November 1985) is a Japanese weightlifter. In the 48kg category, she won the silver medal at the 2012 Olympics and won bronze at the 2016 Olympics. Her father and coach is Yoshiyuki Miyake, who was a bronze medallist in weightlifting at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. Her uncle Yoshinobu Miyake was a gold medalist in weightlifting at the 1964 and 1968 Olympics.

Yoshinobu Miyake is a retired Japanese weightlifter and Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Lieutenant. He won one silver and two gold medals at the 1960, 1964 and 1968 Olympics and finished fourth in 1972. He also won world titles in 1962, 1963 and 1965–66. Between 1959 and 1969 Miyake set 25 official world records, including 10 consecutive records in the snatch and nine consecutive records in the total. In 1993 he was inducted into the International Weightlifting Federation Hall of Fame.

Yoshiyuki Miyake is a Japanese former weightlifter who won a bronze medal in 1968 Summer Olympics, bronze medals in the 1965, 1966, and 1968 World Championships, gold medals in the 1969 and 1971 World Championships, and a gold medal in the 1970 Asian Games. At the 2012 Summer Olympics his daughter Hiromi Miyake won a silver medal in Weightlifting in the 48kg category.

Hiroshi Ono is a Japanese weightlifter. He competed in the men's bantamweight event at the 1972 Summer Olympics.

Kenji Onuma is a retired Japanese lightweight weightlifter who won a silver medal at the 1958 Asian Games. The same year he set an unofficial world record in the clean and jerk. Onuma competed at the 1956 and 1960 Summer Olympics and placed fourth in 1956.

Masushi Ōuchi was a Japanese weightlifter who won a bronze medal at the 1964 Summer Olympics and a silver medal at the 1968 Summer Olympics. He won two gold medals at the Asian Games in 1966 and 1970. He further became the world champion in the light-heavyweight category in 1969. In 1965–1969 Ouchi set eight world records – six in the snatch and two in the total. Later in life, Ouchi won four world titles in the masters category.
