WBlinky Bill is an anthropomorphic koala and children's fictional character created by author and illustrator Dorothy Wall. The character of Blinky first appeared in Brooke Nicholls' 1933 book, Jacko – the Broadcasting Kookaburra, which was illustrated by Wall. Wall then featured Blinky Bill in a series of her own books, including Blinky Bill: The Quaint Little Australian, Blinky Bill Grows Up, and Blinky Bill and Nutsy. The books are considered quintessential Australian children's classics, and have never been out of print in Australia.
WBorobi was the official mascot of the 2018 Commonwealth Games, in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Borobi is a male koala with blue fur and unusual markings on his paws. The name Borobi is derived from a dialect used by the Yugambeh people, an indigenous Australian group from the Gold Coast region. The mascot, along with its fictional back story, was revealed in April 2016. Borobi is based on a character submitted by Merrilyn Krohn, the winner of the GC2018 Mascot Design Competition.
WThe boxing kangaroo is a national symbol of Australia, frequently seen in popular culture. The symbol is often displayed prominently by Australian spectators at sporting events, such as at cricket, tennis, basketball and football matches, and at the Commonwealth and Olympic Games. The flag is also highly associated with its namesake national rugby league team – the Kangaroos. A distinctive flag featuring the symbol has since been considered Australia's sporting flag.
WFatso the Fat-Arsed Wombat was an "unofficial" mascot of the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympics created by Sydney cartoonist Paul Newell with Roy and HG from the Australian Channel Seven sports/comedy television program The Dream with Roy and HG, which covered the event that is a wombat with a lazy, cheerful expression and comically pronounced rump, and that usually appeared on The Dream broadcasts, sometimes as a life-size stuffed toy on Roy and HG's desk.
WThe Gobbledok is a fictitious television character used to promote The Smith's Snackfood Company brand potato chips in Australia. A light brown alien from "Dok the Potato Planet", the Gobbledok was known for its multi-colored mohawk hairstyle, its obsession for eating Smith's potato chips, and its catchphrase "chippie, chippie, chippie!" Initially conceived for a one-off advertisement by John Finkelson of Sydney's George Patterson Advertising agency, the Gobbledok was designed and created by special effects worker Warren Beaton, who later worked for Weta Workshop. The character's unexpected success led to numerous further appearances between 1987 and 1994. It continues to make occasional appearances in commercials and on packaging, and was used in an advertisement in 2021 to commemorate The Smith's Snackfood Company's 90th anniversary in Australia. The Gobbledok was voiced by Dave Gibson, who was also known for voice-work on the TV series Australia's Funniest Home Videos. Gibson reprised his role as the character's voice for the 2021 advertisement.

Together with its sister product Aerogard, a popular insect repellent, Mortein is widely used in Australia and is marketed internationally. It is also available in New Zealand, India, Pakistan, Fiji, and the Comoros. The brand has been represented in television commercials by cartoon antagonist Louie the Fly.

In 1984, he also hosted an after-school children's show called The Ossie Ostrich Video Show, with co-host Jacki MacDonald.
