It has a development and operations centre at Techno park in Trivandrum, Kerala, India and a sales office in Brooklyn, New York, United States.
WBowens International was founded as Bowens Camera Service Company, a London based camera repair company, in 1923 which by the 1950s had grown to be one of the largest in Europe. In 1963, the name Bowens International LTD. was registered. In June 2016 a German investment firm AURELIUS, bought Bowens and the following year in July 2017, AURELIUS closed down the company, discontinuing all further operations.

WHills & Saunders was one of the leading Victorian photographic firms, started as a partnership between Robert Hills & John Henry Saunders. They were social photographers with studios at different times in: London (society), Harrow & Eton & Rugby, Oxford & Cambridge, Aldershot & Sandhurst (army). They were successful, but ultimately unsuccessful at a business level with a number of branches failing and only their two main school branches continuing well into the 20th Century. Ultimately the Harrow photos remain saved by the school and now in private hands and the images can be seen at Iconic Photographs and the name continues in the Eton branch. In 2019 the historic company was acquired by its Oxfordshire based contemporary, Gillman & Soame, in order to preserve the extensive archives and ensure the future of the prestigious Victorian photographic studio.
WIlford Photo is a UK manufacturer of photographic materials known worldwide for its black-and-white film, papers and chemicals, as well as its range of Ilfochrome and Ilfocolor colour printing materials, before these were discontinued. Ilfochrome was formerly called Cibachrome, developed in partnership with the Swiss company CIBA-Geigy. Formerly, it published the Ilford Manual of Photography, a comprehensive manual of everything photographic, including the optics, physics and chemistry of photography, along with recipes for many developers.
