A performer who embarks on a concert tour is called a touring artist.

The film combines footage of the 1970 concerts and on the train, interspersed with contemporary recollections of the tour by its participants.
WFuture Music Festival was an annual music festival featuring Australian and international artists held in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth in Australia and as of 2012 also Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. The festival was usually held in late February - early March and has been headlined by notable acts including The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, New Order, The Stone Roses and most recently Drake. Several weeks after the 2015 edition of the festival, Mushroom Group announced their decision to scrap any future editions of the festival, however they offered hope for a new festival to take its place.

Every year Julekonserten was also broadcast on Television in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Stageway AS arranged these concerts and a part of the money went to aid children on the street in La Paz and Santa Cruz in Bolivia.

The event, announced in May 2009, featured a musical lineup featuring Michael Franti, Spoon, Broken Social Scene, and Girl Talk, and featured a yogi lineup including John Friend, Shiva Rea, Schuyler Grant, Elena Brower, Christy Nones, and Annie Carpenter. Wanderlust has grown from the first festival in Squaw Valley to seven festivals in the United States and Canada in 2015.
WThe Vans Warped Tour was a traveling rock tour that toured the United States annually each summer from its initial start in 1995. It was the largest traveling music festival in the United States and was the longest-running touring music festival to date in North America. Vans toured Australia in 1998-2002 and again in 2013. Following the first Warped Tour, the skateboard shoe manufacturer Vans became the main sponsor of the tour, when it became known as "The Vans Warped Tour". Although Vans continued as main sponsor and lent its name to the festival, other sponsors also participated, with stages or other aspects of the festival being named after them on occasion.
