They have been honored to play for The Black Watch, share a stage with Rod Stewart, play the half time show for the Cincinnati Bengals, and perform at the Cincinnati Celtic Festival since it started in the early 1990s. The band has led the Cincinnati St. Patrick’s Day parade since at least 1969. Their big event each year is the annual Tartan Day Cèilidh held in conjunction with National Tartan Day in early April.

WThe College of Piping and Celtic Performing Arts of Canada, established in 1990 in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada, is an international school teaching Highland bagpiping, Scottish-style snare drumming, Highland Dancing and Island step dancing. General (Ret'd) John de Chastelain was a director at the College. The College of Piping is the most prestigious piping organisation on Prince Edward Island. The College has won 5th place in Grade 3B at the 2012 World Pipe Band Championships and 4th place in Grade 3b at the 2007 World Pipe Band Championships. In addition to these accomplishments are numerous awards from Atlantic Canada, Quebec and the Eastern United States. Many of the members of The College of Piping Pipe Bands are also award-winning soloists, bringing home local, regional, national and international prizes for their respective grade.

WThe Jordanian Armed Forces Band is the main musical unit of the Royal Jordanian Army made up of musicians who perform in official settings usually in the presence of the Jordanian royal family. When performing, all band members wear red and white checked Keffiyehs alongside their full dress uniform. The band was established in 1921, with a core of 10 musicians who served with the Arab Army. In 1929, bagpipes from the area that is now Egypt and Syria were first introduced to the band. In 1982, Hussein of Jordan approved the use of the band for purely ceremonial purposes. Today, the full band is composed of over 500 musicians who are arranged in a similar fashion to the Bands of the Household Division.

It was founded in 1992 by Jim Clough, Bill MacNeill, and Donald Lindsay, and was one of the most consistently high-achieving pipe bands in the United States. Consistent success has earned it the title "Champions Supreme" in seven out of the last eight competition seasons with the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association (EUSPBA).
WFounded in 1967 to train young people in piping and drumming, the Prince Charles Pipe Band is an extensive organization which includes Grade 2, Grade 3 and Grade 5 pipe bands. The Grade 2 band was re-formed in late 2008 with a combination of members from the now defunct Grade 1 band, and newer talent from the lower grade bands. Throughout its history in many different competitive classes, the band has won major prizes including the Grade 2 World Pipe Band Championship in 2000, after which the band became of only three Grade 1 bands in the United States. Prior to their Grade 1 placement, the Prince Charles Pipe Band frequently achieved high placings internationally in Scotland's major competitions as a junior and Grade 3 band.
WThe Regimental Pipes and Drums of The Calgary Highlanders is an authorized volunteer pipe band associated with The Calgary Highlanders of the Canadian Forces. For many years, the band was a bona fide, and separate, military unit unto itself, with a separate Unit Identification Code within the CF. Today, the band has been reduced to volunteer status but officially maintains an establishment of eight paid military musicians on its rolls. The band has had mixed success in competitions, but under the direction of Pipe Major Michael Giles had become successful in the Grade Three circuit in Alberta in the years leading up to the regimental centennial in 2010. The band published a recording to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Regiment in 1990, titled Eighty Years of Glory and commemorated its centennial in 2010 by releasing a second CD entitled Onward.
WThe Royal Canadian Air Force Pipes and Drums (RCAFPD) is a military pipe band unit composed of current members of the Royal Canadian Air Force. The unit was formally established in October 1949 and is the longest continuous serving Air Force Pipe Band in the Canadian Forces. All of its 40 members are volunteers who are drawn from both the military and civilian sphere. At the time of its foundation, it was known as the RCAF Station Rockcliffe Pipe Band.

WThe Shannon Rovers are a pipe band based in Chicago, Illinois. The band plays traditional Irish music almost exclusively. The origins of many of the tunes are lost in antiquity. Centuries ago words were added to many of the melodies and these words provided the names of the tunes as we know them today. The band's signature set, 'Garryowen', 'O'Donnell Abu', and the 'Wearing of the Green' are ancient Irish melodies with words that were composed in the 1700 and 1800s, some of which chronicle events in the 17th century. More recently Garryowen was made famous in this country by Thomas Francis Meagher's Irish Brigade in the Civil War and later by George Custer's Seventh Cavalry.
WThe St Marys District Band Club Pipes and Drums is a pipe band, based in the Suburb of St Marys, New South Wales. The band has been competing in the Australian Pipe Band Championships since it was formed in 1964 and has obtained successful results. From 2005, the band competed in the World Pipe Band Championships.

WThe United States Naval Academy Pipes and Drums is a highland musical cadet unit of the United States Naval Academy (USNA). Currently, the 42-member military pipe band is the only active duty unit of its kind in any service of the Department of the Navy. The band group provides musical support to the academy's Brigade of Midshipmen as well as the larger city of Annapolis, Maryland. It is one of several service academies to maintain bagpipe bands, alsonside the West Point Pipes and Drums and the Virginia Military Institute Pipes and Drums. The USNA Pipe Band is one of the more recent of these types of bands, being established in 1996 with funding being provided by members of the Annapolis class of 1961. It was officially approved as a Brigade Support Activity (BSA) three years later.

It is the official police band of the Vancouver Police Department and is considered to be the official band of the City of Vancouver. It performs for all citywide, provincial, national and international events available to them. Like many pipe bands in the British and Canadian Army, they performs in full highland dress which includes a feather bonnet. It is the oldest non-military pipe band in British Columbia and ranks amongst the most senior police pipe bands in Canada. In its international visits, it has performed in countries such as Singapore, Japan, and the United States.
