An anime adaptation aired on TV Tokyo's anime satellite channel, AT-X between July and September 2005. A second "season" of the manga, named: Amaenaideyo!! MS! was serialized from July 25, 2007 to August 22, 2009.

An anime adaptation produced by TNK and directed by Keitaro Motonaga aired in Japan between October and December 2008.

Originally serialized as a web novel on Shōsetsuka ni Narō between December 2006 and September 2012, KonoSuba was published as a printed light novel series by Kadokawa Shoten under the company's Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint from October 2013 to May 2020. The light novel series features a divergent plot and illustrations by Kurone Mishima.

WSchool Days is a Japanese visual novel developed by 0verflow, released on April 28, 2005, for Windows as an adult game. It was later ported as a DVD game and for the PlayStation 2 (PS2) and PlayStation Portable (PSP). The story, a dramatic slice-of-life, follows Makoto Ito, a high school student who becomes the ambivalent love interest of several girls during his second term, and the effects this has on himself and his relationships with other characters. Though the game requires little interaction from users, School Days engages the player through a plot that they are given opportunities to change the course of during play. The game concludes with an ending specific to the outcome of the story, some of which became notorious for their graphic violence.

It was first released as an adult game for Windows PCs on July 11, 2008 in both limited and regular editions, and was later followed by an Xbox 360 version. Tayutama is Lump of Sugar's third title after their previous titles Nursery Rhyme and Itsuka, Todoku, Ano Sora ni. The story centers on the male protagonist Yuri Mito, a high school student who is the son of a family that presides over the local Shinto shrine. As Yuri performs a ritual to transfer a relic that hosts a fictional, supernatural race called Tayutai, he and his friends accidentally summon a goddess, who incarnates as a young girl.
WUtawarerumono is a Japanese adult tactical role-playing visual novel developed by Leaf, which released in April 2002 for Microsoft Windows. It was ported to the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. In releases subsequent to the initial 2002 version, it is known by its more specific title Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen .
WWooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life is a Japanese short CG anime series by Sanzigen, based on a short journal column created by Supercell member Yoshiki Usa and illustrator Tomoko Fujinoki. The series aired on TV Tokyo between October and December 2012, and was streamed on Nico Nico Douga and Crunchyroll. A second season began airing on January 2014 and ended on March 25, 2014. A third season began airing on July 3, 2015 and ended on September 25, 2015.
WYuki Yuna is a Hero is a 12-episode Japanese anime television series created by Takahiro, produced by Studio Gokumi and directed by Seiji Kishi as part of a media project called Takahiro IV Project. The series aired in Japan between October 17 and December 26, 2014 on MBS. The anime has been licensed by Pony Canyon's North American label Ponycan USA. Multiple light novel and manga series have been published by ASCII Media Works. A PlayStation Vita video game was released in Japan in February 2015. A visual novel for Windows was released in December 2014 with the first DVD and Blu-ray Disc volume for the anime, with a second released with the sixth volume in May 2015. A second anime season project, consisting of an adaptation of a prequel light novel and a sequel series, ran between March 2017 and January 2018. A smartphone game launched in 2017 and received a short anime series titled Yuki Yuna is a Hero: Churutto!, which aired between April to June 2021. A third anime season aired between October to December 2021.
