
The African Summit on Women and Girls in Technology is an international summit organized by the World Wide Web Foundation and the Alliance for Affordable Internet in collaboration with other international organizations and ministries. It is a gathering of digital equality advocates who are mostly women and the main focus of discussion is bridging the digital gender gap.
This National Conference is the biennial conference of the Australian Council for Computers in Education (ACCE). Technology in education learning and traditional classroom learning have different focuses and defining features. There are also four types of computer education:Bring your own device(BYOD), blended learning, online learning, and flipped learning.

Brain Bar is an annual event held in Budapest, Hungary. It has been referred to as "a sort of South By Southwest on the Danube" as it is both a tech conference and a music festival. The event attracted more than 15,000 attendees in 2019 and a livestream audience of more than 50,000.

Pirillo was the co-host of the show Call For Help on the former cable television channel TechTV. Gnomedex started as an outgrowth of Pirillo's technology newsletters, IRC channel and web site. The conference name is a satirical portmanteau of Pirillo's Lockergnome and the now-defunct Comdex technology trade show, which was a massive and influential annual event at the time of the first Gnomedex conference.

The International Conference on Nitride Semiconductors (ICNS) is a major academic conference and exhibition in the field of group III nitride research. It has been held biennially since 1995. Notacon was an art and technology conference which took place annually in Cleveland, Ohio from 2003 to 2014. Notacon ceased operations in 2014. The name Notacon became a bacronym for Northern Ohio Technological Advancement Conference; however, use of this was mostly dropped after the first year. Notacon preceded the Ingenuity Festival by over a year in its vision for a cohesive blend of art and technology.

Slush is a startup and tech event. Slush facilitates meetings between the founders of startups and investors such as venture capitalists, accomplished with events such as matchmaking and pitching competitions. Slush aims to build a worldwide startup community. The event is held annually, in late fall, in Helsinki, Finland. In 2021, Slush will bring together 8,000 attendees, with over 3,200 startup founders or operators, and 1,500 investors coming in from around the world to participate together in this global networking festival.

SXSW V2V is the newest South by Southwest conference; it features a startup competition, panel discussions, and mentoring workshops for entrepreneurs. Hosted in Las Vegas, it is the first SXSW event to take place outside of Austin, Texas. It began in 2013 as an evolution of the startup competition that is held as part of the SXSW Interactive festival each spring.

The Tech Plus Forum (tech+) is a government-affiliated, international, non-profit "knowledge concert" held each year in Seoul, South Korea. It was created to bring together recognized international and domestic innovation and inspiration leaders in the fields of technology, economy, culture and humanity. The name tech+ literally stands for these four contrasting but closely correlated fields. Since 2009, tech+ has been providing a public platform for the world’s intellectual community to promote and develop theories and solutions to tackle cutting edge issues related to industrial technology. The audience, consisting of university students, academics, government officials and professionals, attracted 8000 participants in 2010. Past speakers have included international and domestic policy makers, business leaders, innovators, artists and academics. Each fall, the tech+ Forum is jointly hosted by the Korean Ministry of Knowledge Economy and JoongAng Ilbo, and is organized by the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT) At the conclusion of the forum, KIAT releases a series of publications aimed at making suggestions regarding specific government policies. These documents are public and are intended to help shape the direction government policy as well.

TechCrunch is an American online newspaper focusing on high tech and startup companies. It was founded in June 2005 by partners of Archimedes Ventures, Michael Arrington and Keith Teare, and was acquired in 2010 by AOL for $25 million. TechCrunch is also best known for its Disrupt conferences; an annual technology event hosted in several cities across United States, Europe, and China.

TechfestNW (TFNW) is an annual technology conference in Portland, Oregon that brings together innovators, startups, entrepreneurs, tech companies and investors from around the globe. The event features main stage speakers, workshops, a startup pitch competition, exhibitor booths, networking opportunities and parties. In 2012, Fortune magazine called it the next South by Southwest (SXSW).

TED Conferences LLC is an American media organization that posts talks online for free distribution under the slogan "ideas worth spreading". TED was conceived by Richard Saul Wurman, who co-founded it with Harry Marks in February 1984 as a conference; it has been held annually since 1990. TED's early emphasis was on technology and design, consistent with its Silicon Valley origins. It has since broadened its perspective to include talks on many scientific, cultural, political, humanitarian and academic topics. It has been curated by Chris Anderson, a British-American businessman, through the non-profit TED Foundation since July 2019.

VALA - Libraries, Technology and the Future Inc. (VALA) is an Australian not-for-profit professional organisation that promotes the use and understanding of information and communication technologies across the galleries, libraries, archives and museum sectors.

Started in 2015, as a Virtual Reality Meetup Group in Toronto, VRTO launched the VRTO Virtual & Augmented Reality World Conference & Expo in June 2016 - an international exhibition and professional conference exploring arts, culture and science through immersive technologies.
