WAddicted, also known as Heroin, is a 2016 streaming television series based on the boys' love novel Are You Addicted? (你丫上瘾了) by Chai Jidan. The series is about two sixteen-year-old teenagers, Gu Hai and Bai Luo Yin, who despite their social differences and personal history forge a close love relationship. Starring Huang Jingyu and Xu Weizhou in their television debut, it premiered on January 29, 2016, and aired for three episodes weekly until February 23, 2016 when it was banned by Chinese authorities. The series' groundbreaking success and its subsequent ban brought the attention to the taboo topic of homosexuality in mainland China. The series has since developed a cult following.
WAfro Samurai is a Japanese seinen dōjinshi manga series written and illustrated by manga artist Takashi Okazaki. It was originally serialized irregularly in the avant-garde dōjinshi manga magazine Nou Nou Hau from November 1998 to September 2002. Inspired by Okazaki's love of soul and hip hop music and American media, it follows the life of Afro Samurai who witnessed his father, Rokutaro being killed by a male gunslinger named Justice while he was a child. As an adult, Afro sets off to kill Justice and avenge his father.

Tokyopop acquired the licensing rights to distribute the manga in English and released the first 5 volumes of the manga before the company shut down its North American Publishing division in 2011. Viz Media announced that it had licensed the series for English language release in North America on July 7, 2013, and released the first volume on February 11, 2014; new volumes were released every two months thereafter.

The story follows Light Yagami, a teen genius who discovers a mysterious notebook: the "Death Note", which belonged to the Shinigami Ryuk, and grants the user the supernatural ability to kill anyone whose name is written in its pages. The series centers around Light's subsequent attempts to use the Death Note to carry out a worldwide massacre of individuals whom he deems immoral and to create a crime-free society, using the alias of a god-like vigilante named "Kira", and the subsequent efforts of an elite Japanese police task force, led by enigmatic detective L, to apprehend him. Death Note ran in Shueisha's manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from December 2003 to May 2006. Its 108 chapters were collected in 12 tankōbon volumes.

It was originally serialized by Kodansha from January 1997 to July 2000 in the magazine Weekly Morning, and later collected in 17 volumes. The story follows Jun Fudo, a model who can transform into the powerful Devil Lady and protects humanity from devil beasts and their creations.

Inspector Re-L Mayer is assigned to investigate, discovering a more complicated plot behind it that involves a humanoid species known as "Proxy" who are the subject of secret government experiments.
WGo Princess Go is a 2015 Chinese web series produced by LeTV and adapted from the novel of the same name by Xian Chen. The series stars Zhang Tianai, Sheng Yilun, Yu Menglong, Jiang Qilin and Guo Junchen in the lead roles. It premiered in December 2015 with 35 episodes. The show incorporates various themes such as time travel, bisexuality and gender identity. A third of the show was censored in China.
WGuardian is a 2018 Chinese web series starring Bai Yu and Zhu Yilong. An adaptation of the 2012 fantasy-danmei web novel of the same name by Priest, the series was released on the video platform Youku between June 13 and July 25, 2018. The series follows Zhao Yunlan (Bai) and Shen Wei (Zhu), a detective and a professor who investigate supernatural phenomena. Though the novel depicts their relationship as romantic in nature, the web series depicts the relationship as a platonic friendship with homoerotic subtext in response to Chinese laws prohibiting depictions of same-sex relationships on television.
WInferno Cop is a 13-episode Japanese original net animation in the motion comic style, directed by Akira Amemiya with Hiroyuki Imaishi serving as series production director and produced by Trigger and CoMix Wave. It was streamed via the Anime Bancho YouTube channel from December 24, 2012 to March 18, 2013. The main theme is "Die Höllen Polizei" by Juriano Hagiwara. A second season has been announced. However this has been complicated by the passing of Inferno Cop's voice actor Junichi Goto in February 2020.

WKiev Day and Night is a Ukrainian reality television series based on the 2011 German series Berlin – Tag & Nacht. The initial principal cast consisted of Oksana Avram, Bohdan Sheludiak, Karina Havryliuk, Oleksandr Ozolin and Albina Pererva, until the former four actors departed in 2017. The show was rebooted on August 28, 2018 for its fifth season. In 2018, Alina London, Anastasiia Durkot, Maksym Sosnovskyi, Yaroslava Zhytomirska, Semen Tereshchenko, and Polina Kovalevska joined the cast. In addition, Albina Pererva, Oleksandr Voronyi, Pavlo Serhiienko and Nazar Kukharenko took on the same role as with past seasons. It was filmed in Kyiv and broadcast on Novyi Kanal from March 8, 2016 to January 8, 2019.

Based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Yukito Ayatsuji, the series is set in 1998 and focuses on a boy named Kōichi Sakakibara who, upon transferring into Yomiyama Middle School and meeting the curious Mei Misaki, finds himself in a mystery revolving around students and people related to his class facing gruesome and senseless deaths. Another was directed by Tsutomu Mizushima and produced by P.A.Works, with character designs by Yuriko Ishii, the chief animation director of the series, based on Noizi Ito's original concepts for the novel.

The story follows Mitsuki Kanzaki who comes to have a stepbrother named Yūya. One day Mitsuki is possessed by an angel who calls herself Hiyori who in life had deep feelings towards Yūya. She places a chastity belt on Mitsuki and tells her in order for her to cross over into heaven her final wish to be closer to Yūya must be fulfilled or else both of them will die and go to hell. Mitsuki reluctantly agrees and soon finds herself torn by her feelings for Yūya.

WSchool Days is a Japanese visual novel developed by 0verflow, released on April 28, 2005, for Windows as an adult game. It was later ported as a DVD game and for the PlayStation 2 (PS2) and PlayStation Portable (PSP). The story, a dramatic slice-of-life, follows Makoto Ito, a high school student who becomes the ambivalent love interest of several girls during his second term, and the effects this has on himself and his relationships with other characters. Though the game requires little interaction from users, School Days engages the player through a plot that they are given opportunities to change the course of during play. The game concludes with an ending specific to the outcome of the story, some of which became notorious for their graphic violence.

The series has spawned twelve manga adaptations published by ASCII Media Works and Kadokawa. The novels and the manga adaptations have been licensed for release in North America by Yen Press.

The anime was created and directed by Shinichirō Watanabe, with character designs by Kazuto Nakazawa and music by Yoko Kanno. The anime began airing on Fuji TV's Noitamina block on July 10, 2014, and its final episode aired on September 25, 2014. In total, it was made up of 11 episodes. Funimation acquired North American streaming rights and released an English dub on DVD on January 19, 2016. Anime Limited and Madman Entertainment acquired streaming rights for the UK and Australia, respectively. Funimation premiered the series at Anime Expo on July 5, 2014.

WWhen Heaven Burns is a 2011 Hong Kong television serial produced by TVB and starring Bowie Lam, Moses Chan, Kenny Wong, Charmaine Sheh and Angela Tong. First revealed during TVB's Sales Presentation 2009 in 2008, filming took place in late 2009 to early 2010, with the first episode airing both in Hong Kong and TVB's overseas affiliates and partners on 21 November 2011. On 27 December 2011, the show was blacklisted by the Chinese State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television, making it the first Hong Kong television drama to be censored in Mainland China in more than two decades.
