
Angel Guts is a six-film series of pink films produced between 1978 and 1994. The Nikkatsu Corporation was responsible for the production of the majority of the series. In accordance with the "pink film" genre, the prevalent theme in the series is sex, but violence is also featured prominently in the films. Angel Guts is based on the manga series written by Takashi Ishii.

Cloistered Nun: Runa's Confession (1976) is a Japanese pink film in the nunsploitation genre starring pop singer Luna Takamura, directed by Masaru Konuma and produced by Nikkatsu. AllRovi reports of the film, "As Konuma is not one to pull political punches for the sake of lightweight erotic fluff, the film is far more pointed than the numerous European 'sexy nun' films it ostensibly resembles." Jasper Sharp calls it "a typically profane offering in the most peculiar of Nikkatsu's pornographic subgenres".

Zoom Up Bōkō Gemba (ズームアップ 暴行現場) is a 1979 Japanese film in Nikkatsu's Roman porno series, directed by Kōyū Ohara. This film is the first in Nikkatsu's "Zoom Up" series and its success led to six more sequels in the same motif. It represented a return to the ultra-violent, misogynistic "Violent Pink" style which Nikkatsu had curtailed after the 1977 Rape! 13th Hour.
