WBabish Culinary Universe, formerly Binging with Babish, is a YouTube cooking channel created by American filmmaker Andrew Rea that recreates recipes featured in film, television, and video games in the Binging with Babish series, as well as more traditional recipes in the Basics with Babish series. The first video in the series was uploaded on February 10, 2016.
WBaron Ambrosia was a character played by international explorer Justin Fornal from 2006 to 2013. The character was a self-proclaimed "quaffer of culinary consciousness" and traveled around New York City, mostly in The Bronx, documenting various ethnic cultures and their indigenous cuisines, represented typically by the small food establishments he visits. Baron Ambrosia appeared in Fornal's self-produced video podcast Underbelly NYC, the public-access television cable TV channel BronxNet's Bronx Flavor, and "The Culinary Adventures of Baron Ambrosia" on the Cooking Channel. In 2012, Fornal won a New York Emmy for his portrayal of Baron Ambrosia. Fornal stopped using the character after the feature length film BARON AMBROSIA IS DEAD to pursue exploration and documentary film-making full time.
WCooking with Dog is a Japanese cooking show web series. It premiered on YouTube on September 9, 2007. The show features a Japanese woman known only as "Chef" who prepares the featured dish of the episode while her toy poodle Francis narrates the process. While Chef speaks in Japanese, Francis narrates the episodes in English, a decision designed to expand the show's audience. Though initially focusing on Japanese cuisine, the show later expanded to include cuisine from other regions. New episodes were uploaded each Friday, before switching to a different release structure in early 2017. Despite the show's popularity and public appearances by Chef, the identities of both Chef and the show's producer are intentionally undisclosed out of privacy concerns.
WFeed Me Bubbe was a low budget Jewish cooking show starring Bertha Jonas. "Bubbe" is the Yiddish word for "Grandmother." Jonas's grandson Avrom introduced each show from her kitchen in Worcester, Massachusetts declaring "Bubbe" one of the three words he needs to know when he is hungry and looking for Kosher food.
WMy Drunk Kitchen is a cooking show and comedy series of short videos created and posted on YouTube by Hannah Hart beginning in March 2011. The series features Hart, a San Franciscan proofreader living in Los Angeles, typically attempting to cook or bake various dishes, or otherwise engaging in some food-related activity, all while imbibing large quantities of alcoholic beverages. Most episodes have their own recipe, and occasionally a corresponding beverage. The series has been praised for its drunk humor, catchphrases, and the use of jump cut editing. Hart's YouTube channel has 2.4 million subscribers.
WSorted Food is a British YouTube cooking channel and food website created by old school friends from Hertfordshire - Benjamin 'Ben' Ebbrell, Michael 'Mike' Huttlestone, Jamie Spafford and Barry Taylor. Around 2014 James Currie, who met Ebbrell in culinary school, joined the team first as a developmental chef and then as an on camera personality. The YouTube channel was created on March 10, 2010 and has grown to attract an audience so large that in January 2019 Google described SORTEDfood as "one of the world's largest food and cooking communities" They have also created the Sorted Club, which is a subscription based collection of apps to "learn, explore and change your routine for the better".
