WCiao was a European-based online-shopping portal with websites in the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and Sweden. In February 2008, the company launched an American version of the site, Ciao.com. The site provided a forum where registered users could write reviews and give their opinions on a wide variety of products to help others make decisions. These reviews were available to the general public to help consumers, but also rated by other Ciao users on their usefulness on a scale ranging from exceptional to off-topic. Up to December 2017, when a review was read by a member, the author had money added to their account. Members could also receive money through online surveys and referring friends. On 27 November 2017, Ciao announced that from 1 December all payments would be stopped. In February 2018, Ciao was closed down. Ciao was free to sign up for.
WThe Dutch Wikipedia is the Dutch-language edition of the free online encyclopedia, Wikipedia. It was founded on 19 June 2001. As of October 2021, the Dutch Wikipedia is the sixth-largest Wikipedia edition, with 2,069,929 articles. It was the fourth Wikipedia edition to exceed one million articles, after the English, German, and French editions. In April 2016, 1154 active editors made at least five edits in that month.
WFOK! is a Dutch website and virtual community, containing active content like news, reviews, columns and polls. It was founded by Danny Roodbol, and is one of the largest internet communities of the Netherlands. The forum's user group is diverse, though much of its content is targeted towards a younger audience. Currently over 470.000 accounts have been created and the forums post count is over 172 million.
WGeenStijl is a Dutch blog founded on 10 April 2003. The logo is a pink coloured crown within a circle. In the Dutch language, the term "geen stijl" is used to describe an act by a person or organisation that lacks style or manners.

WHyves was a social networking site in the Netherlands with mainly Dutch visitors and members, where it competed with sites such as Facebook and MySpace. Hyves was founded in 2004 by Raymond Spanjar and Floris Rost van Tonningen. The service was available in both Dutch and English.
WRetecool is a weblog/webmagazine that has existed since May 23, 2000. The initiator of this project is Hubert Roth. According to a survey by marketing blog MarketingFacts.nl, Retecool is currently the fourth largest weblog in the Netherlands. According to themselves the weblog is mainly visited by public aged between 24 and 44 years old. Retecool is a shock blog, similar to Geenstijl.
WDe Speld is a Dutch news satire website. The website publishes satirical articles and videos parodying the style and content of regular news outlets. De Speld was founded in 2007 by Jochem van den Berg and Melle van den Berg. Since its inception, the website's office has been in Amsterdam. In 2014 and 2015 De Speld was the 'most viral website' of The Netherlands.
