Kitchen Princess

Kitchen Princess is a shōjo cooking, romance manga series written by Miyuki Kobayashi and illustrated by Natsumi Andō. Appearing as a serial in the manga magazine Nakayoshi from the September 2004 issue to the October 2008 issue, the forty-seven chapters were compiled into ten bound volumes by Kodansha, and published from February 2005 to November 2008. It also includes recipes for each featured dish at the end of each chapter. The series marked the first time that Ando illustrated a manga that was not also written by her. Set in modern-day Japan, Kitchen Princess follows Najika Kazami, a cheerful thirteen-year-old who searches for her "flan prince," a boy who rescued her from drowning as a young girl and brought a little happiness to her life after her parents' death. In March 2008, Kodansha published a related light novel, Kitchen Princess: Search for the Angel Cake, written by Kobayashi and illustrated by Ando.

Mirmo de Pon! is a manga series written by Hiromu Shinozuka and serialized in Ciao magazine from July 2001 through December 2005. It was also published in twelve collected volumes by Shogakukan. The manga series was awarded in the 2003 Kodansha Manga Award and in the 2004 Shogakukan Manga Award for children's manga. The series was licensed for an English language release in North America by Viz Media. Four months later, the show aired in Japan for the first time. Chuang Yi released the manga in English in Singapore.

Missions of Love

Missions of Love is a shōjo manga series by Ema Tōyama. The plot centers around a junior high student named Yukina Himuro. While she is cold and withdrawn, she finds a big secret about Shigure, a guy who is hugely popular with the girls. In order to keep the secret hidden, Yukina orders him to do "missions" with her that involve romance. Yukina feels that the missions will help her novels, but as time passes she begins to question if it is really love developing. Missions of Love appeared as a serial in the monthly manga magazine Nakayoshi from June 10, 2009 to June 3, 2015. Kodansha published the chapters in nineteen bound volumes, from October 6, 2009 to June 12, 2015. In addition to the manga, a drama CD was also released in Japan in 2012. In 2018, a live action film adaptation was released, following a mini manga sequel in Nakayoshi to help promote it.

Shugo Chara! , also known as My Guardian Characters, is a Japanese shōjo manga series created by the manga author duo, Peach-Pit. The story centers on elementary school girl Amu Hinamori, whose popular exterior, referred to as "cool and spicy" by her classmates, contrasts with her introverted personality. When Amu wishes for the courage to be reborn as her would-be self, she is surprised to find three colorful eggs the next morning, which hatch into three Guardian Characters: Ran, Miki, and Su.

Sugar Sugar Rune or Sugar² Rune is a Japanese magical girl manga series written and illustrated by Moyoco Anno and serialized in the shōjo manga magazine Nakayoshi from August 2004 to April 2007. The series was collected into eight volumes published by Kodansha from March 2004 to September 2007. Sugar Sugar Rune was adapted into an anime television series produced by Studio Pierrot, which aired on TV Tokyo from July 2, 2005 to June 24, 2006. Sugar Sugar Rune won the 29th Kodansha Manga Awards in the children's manga category.

Yo-kai Watch is a manga series written and illustrated by Noriyuki Konishi, based on Level-5's franchise with the same name. The series primarily follows Nate Adams, who gets the titular Yo-kai Watch, which allows him to see Yo-kai, who are otherwise invisible to the human eye. The series has been serialized by Shogakukan in CoroCoro Comic in Japan since December 2012. Viz Media publishes the series in North America under their Perfect Square imprint, whereas Shogakukan Asia publishes the series in Singapore and Kazé publishes it in Spain and France.
